What’s New
This update is all about looking forward — to your next trip, and to your next 195 countries.
Plan trips before you take them. You can now add upcoming trips with future dates. They show up in your trips list with a Planned badge and a countdown to departure, and the countries appear in amber on the map so you remember what’s coming. Stats only count what you’ve actually visited, so your numbers stay honest.
A real 3D globe. Pro members can now tap the new “3D” button on the map to open a fullscreen globe — your visited countries glow on a slowly rotating Earth set against a starfield with the occasional meteor streaking past. There’s also a smaller interactive globe on the Stats tab that you can drag to spin yourself.
The map looks better. Tapping a country now highlights it with a clean white outline so it’s easier to see what you’ve selected. The flash when you mark a new country is brighter and more satisfying. There’s a subtle vignette around the map edges, smoother camera zooms, and a translucent header that lets the map breathe through.
A fresh look throughout. A redesigned paywall, the new Atlas component library across screens, and a new typeface give the app a more polished, cohesive feel.
